ABOUT Wendell

Renaissance Man to Real Estate Expert

I'm not just a property manager. I'm an investor, a lifelong learner, and someone who has worked nearly every side of real estate.

After attending a Wealth Building Seminar focused on real estate investing, I was hooked. I earned my real estate license in 2010 and started working real estate sales along with wholesaling. Wanting to further pursue the investor side of real estate plus wanting to know the ends and outs of rentals is what landed me at Minnix Property Management in 2013. As my knowledge and connections grew, I eventually worked my way up to Team Leader.

With over 15 years' experience in all realms of real estate, 30+ deals under my belt, and a rich network of investors, I bring everything I've learned to helping property owners succeed.

Educating and Advocating

Through extensive involvement in various real estate companies and associations, I am able to advocate for policies that raise industry standards.

I'm president of the Lubbock Apartment Association, and I run the Lubbock Real Estate Investor Association

The Lubbock Apartment Association is a non-profit trade organization representing the interests of the apartment industry in Lubbock, Texas.

We aim to educate, advocate, cultivate relationships, and provide resources to strengthen the Lubbock rental housing industry.

Membership in the Association can help provide a stronger and more unified voice for the apartment industry in our community, state and nation!

The Lubbock Real Estate Investor Association meets on the last Thursday of every month at 5:30pm at Western Bank Conference Center.

Our mission is to empower real estate investors with the knowledge, resources, and network needed to achieve financial success, while fostering a community that promotes ethical investing, innovation, and sustainable growth in the Lubbock market.
